Deutsche Bundesbank president Jens Weidmann will use previously unpublished European Central Bank documents when appearing before German lawmakers, the news agency Reuters reported today (June 25).
The plan may satisfy the conditions set by Germany’s constitutional court in its landmark ruling last month. Weidmann had already been set to testify before Germany’s Bundestag, or parliament. But if the report is accurate, he will now be able to use ECB documents relating to governing council
