Brad Lane, chair of the Iowa Bankers Association, describes how the pandemic has impacted the state’s ag industry especially livestock farmers, the state of retail and the PPP impact, and how loan demand has fared so far this year.

“If this takes another six months or a year, there are going some major changes,” said Lane, who is also president and CEO of Security Savings Bank, Gowrie. “My fear is there is going to be a lot of businesses that may not reopen as a result of this.”
