ETtech Deals Digest: Postman, Yugabyte, & others close funding rounds this week
Postman has raised $150 million in its Series C funding round, led by Insight Partners at a valuation of $2 billion, catapulting it into the coveted unicorn club. Existing investors Nexus Venture Partners and Charles River Ventures, which had last invested $50 million into the company in June 2019 at a valuation of $350 million, also participated in the fundraising. Wipro Ventures, the venture arm of Wipro has participated in a $30 million investment in Yugabyte, a open source database company and plans to take the product to its over 1,000 clients globally. The funding was led by 8VC with existing investors Lightspeed Venture Partners and Dell Technologies Capital participating in the round. This round brings the company’s total funding to $55 million. Enterprise automation platform has raised $18 million in Series A funding led by Nexus Venture Partners along with participation from Rebright Partners, W250 Venture Fund and a group of C-level executives from Atlassian, Costco, among others. Read more.

Healthcare venture HealthPlix Technologies has raised $6 million in Series B round led by JSW Ventures and participated in by existing investors Chiratae Ventures, and Kalaari Capital. With this, the company has raised a total $10 million to date. Read more.

Yolobus, a startup looking to standardise inter-city bus travel, has raised $3.3 million in a Series A funding round led by Nexus Venture Partners to expand its service in the country and invest in safety features. The funding also saw participation from India Quotient. Read more.
